About
I am a hairstylist serving clients in Los Angeles and the Santa Clarita Valley, CA. I specialize in wedding and event hairstyling. My goal is to make my clients glow from inside out! A little background about me — I have always been passionate about hairstyling since I was a young girl. I was a cheerleader for 7 years and during that time, I would always be the person doing my friends’ hair for cheer competitions and football games. A few years later, I decided to surprise everyone and pursue an accounting degree at California State University, Northridge. I proceeded to become a tax accountant for 4 years but decided to leave the accounting field because I felt unfulfilled by not being in a more people-centered role. I ended up changing careers and becoming a Campus Recruiter, and I actually recently changed careers again to pursue a role in the HR field, which I currently do full-time. Through all of these changes, I have learned one thing — my passion for hairstyling and making people feel special could never be suppressed. In September 2021, I decided to start pursuing my passion of hairstyling and launched Braided by Tarah as an official side hustle. Cancellation Policy
I understand that sometimes schedules change and therefore request at least 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling your appointment. A credit card is required to hold your appointment. Appointments canceled within 24 hours or for which clients are a “No-Show” for will incur a charge of 50% of the service amount.
